Best-Ever Banana Split Dessert

The Best Ever Banana Split Dessert takes the classic banana split to a new level, incorporating a graham cracker crust and toppings to satisfy your sweet tooth. This dessert is easy to make and sure to take you back to the first time you tasted a banana split. Get together with friends or family over this Banana Split Dessert for a guaranteed sweet time!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 5 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Bananas
  • 1 Can of Crushed Pineapple
  • Whipped Cream, plenty
  • Maraschino Cherries
  • Chopped Nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions

  1. 1 Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, press tightly into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. 2 Beat powdered sugar, vanilla, 1 stick of butter for a few minutes. Add eggs, continue to beat.
  3. 3 Spread the mixture evenly over the crumb layer.
  4. 4 Peel bananas and slice. Place each slice of banana over the creamed layer, covering evenly and completely.
  5. 5 Drain pineapple and spoon over bananas, evenly.
  6. 6 Cover entirely with whipped cream. Sprinkle cherries and nuts to your liking!
  7. 7 Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours. (Can be refrigerated overnight)
  8. 8 Serve in square pieces, making sure to get a piece of the bottom crust. Enjoy!
