Formerly called the "English Speaking Union", the guest speaker will be retired newspaperman and public information officer Pete Pillow, who will present “English Fake News”. This promises to be a very lively program, as he will tell us how to spot fake news, where to check on the truthfulness of news items, and the effect that fake news has on the public. He will also show us news items and ask us to determine whether or not they’re fake. Residents are invited to attend!
