The Devine Quilters Guild will be exhibiting their all-time favorite or prize-winning quilts during the months of April and May at the Still Hopes gallery in the Shearouse Wellness Center. Two Still Hopes residents, Janet Morris and Dorothy Pondy, who are also members of the Guild, will have quilts included in the exhibit. This exhibit will be in conjunction with The 2017 Needle and Thread Studio Tour to be held on April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The tour will include a free visit to the gallery at Still Hopes. The price of admission to the 7 studios on the tour is $20. Still Hopes resident Dorothy Pondy's studio in her apartment will be one of the studios on the tour. The studio tour will serve as a fundraiser for the Devine Quilters Guild charity projects and education, which include making quilts and pillowcases for The Ronald McDonald House, making comfort pillows for heart surgery and pressure relief for hospital patients in conjunction with ladies at the First Presbyterian Church, and making quilts for the V.A. Hospital.
