The Director of Facility Services is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Buildings Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance and Community Patrol in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Executive Director or Health Services Director, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and compliant manner.
Preferred candidate must have, as a minimum, three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance/plant related position, in a CCRC, hospital or other related medical facility. Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations. A SC Driver’s license required with verified three (3) year safe driving record.
