Still Hopes Wellness Programs featured as
WLTX Spotlight Story

Check out the Spotlight Story below that aired on Columbia's WLTX. See the interview with Still Hopes Director of Wellness, Denise Heimlich. Denise and Derry London discuss the benefits of "Changing the Way We Age" wellness programs available at Still Hopes. Open to both Still Hopes residents and the community at large, the state-of-the Center for Wellness at Still Hopes provides safe and effective exercise programs designed specifically for adults age 55 and older.

Thoughts on Wellness

There is a strong relationship between physical fitness and memory. In a recent study, memory loss was more related to a person’s level of physical fitness than age. We tend to associate memory loss with age, but a person’s current level of physical fitness and history of exercise more strongly relates to short term memory. The more a person has exercised and is physically fit, the less trouble with memory. It’s never too late to get started improving fitness—stop the excuses and get moving!

Still Hopes offers Fitness Classes, Aquatic Classes and Brain Fitness Classes for those aged 55 and older.
Our classes and wellness programs are open to the community unless noted otherwise in the class description.  We also have specialty services such as massage, chiropractic care and an array of spa services available in our state-of-the-art Center for Wellness.
