Creative Crafters
Mondays at 2 p.m.
Location: Susan G. Robinson Garden Room
This service oriented group actively serves our campus providing gifts/prizes for the nursing and Alzheimer’s care neighborhoods, as well as decorations for all areas. They also make items to sell for the ongoing fund raising effort for the Resident Assistance Fund. No expertise is necessary, just a willingness to help and have fun.
Knitting for the Needy
Wednesdays at 2 p.m.
Location: Harry McDowell apartment atrium
This is another service oriented group that enjoys providing items for those in need outside the Still Hopes campus. They have sent much needed handmade articles to our troops overseas, people in nursing homes, women’s shelters, neo-natal intensive care units, homeless shelters, and more. Quilters and crochet enthusiasts also bring their items to work on with this group.
Quilting
Fridays at 1:00 p.m.
Location: Harry McDowell apartment atrium
The quilting group welcomes anyone with a willingness to use thread and a needle! Assistance can be provided to get you started.
